What makes PRX-PLUSP unique is its use of homocycsteic acid and ammonium tricholoacetate. This formulation is specifically designed to help even skin tones by removing excess melanin. This helps patients decrease the visibility of hyperpigmention, and dark spots, and achieve a consistent skin tone in their treatment area. By contrast, PRX Derm Perfexion’s formula is focused on de-aging and decreasing the visibility of a variety of blemishes including acne scarring, rosacea, and stretch marks. Patients can receive either or both treatments based on their unique skin goals.

A single PRX-PLUS treatment can be done in 20 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area. It is a quick treatment that has no needles, downtime, or peeling. Patients can also notice immediate results with their full results appearing over time.
Your PRX Provider will recommend a treatment plan based on your specific goals. A series of 5 treatments is recommended.
Individual results vary from patient to patient but are known to last up to 8 months. After completing a series, patients can maintain results with touch-up appointments every 6 weeks.
